Duane Tharp
Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer
Duane is a seasoned software entrepreneur with broad experience in enterprise software and Web application infrastructure. His career spans leadership roles in engineering, sales, business development, operations and general management. Prior to co-founding StreamStep, Duane launched and grew NetSuite’s developer program to be a vibrant eco-system and was Vice President of Professional Service at BetweenMarkets (acquired by Inovis). Previously, he co-founded mValent (acquired by Oracle) with Clyde Logue and was CTO and CEO, securing the initial institutional investment in mValent and charting its strategic direction. As an early member and technical leader at Bowstreet, he was responsible for strategic relationships with Cisco, IBM and Nortel, and was instrumental in building revenues to $25M. Duane’s early career includes being Founder and President of Remote Products and Trik (acquired by Symantec).
Clyde Logue
Co-founder and Product Management
Clyde brings a wealth of experience in designing, delivering, and implementing enterprise software products and services to StreamStep, where he is responsible for defining the product and go-to-market strategies. Prior to co-founding StreamStep, Clyde was Director of Release Management at Liberty Mutual, where he oversaw and lived the challenges of release management firsthand. At Bottomline Technologies Clyde led product management for the Purchase-to-Pay and Invoice-to-Cash Products for enterprise and banking industry customers. Previously, he co-founded mValent (acquired by Oracle) with Duane Tharp and led all marketing and product management activities - defining, delivering and launching the early product releases. At Bowstreet, Clyde created the initial wireless product offering and oversaw implementation in early adopter customers. His early career includes Dell and Zoom Interactive Design.
Clyde holds an MBA from The Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College, a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas.
Craig Bitter
Professional Services
Craig brings 15 years experience in project management and delivery of complex technology solutions within large enterprise organizations. Prior to joining StreamStep, Craig led efforts at Sprint-Nextel to design and deliver custom workflow and financial management systems supporting the FCC-mandated, multi-billion-dollar "800MHz Rebanding" project. Craig is also a veteran of several technology startups including Appitx, Inc., the market leader in hosted Microsoft Exchange solutions. At Apptix, Craig designed and implemented a channel program, helping grow partner sales to over 70% of company revenues within two years. Prior to working at Apptix, Craig was one of the top 50 Client Relationship Managers at marchFIRST and responsible for several major accounts including Aetna, Inc. Before joining marchFIRST, Craig founded and ran an interactive services agency. Craig holds an MBA from Georgetown University and a BA degree from Bucknell University.
Bradford J. (Brady) Byrd
Software Development
Brady Byrd joined the StreamStep team in August 2009 as head of development. Brady brings diverse experience to the software development role. Most recently with Liberty Mutual, Brady worked with the architecture group and led efforts to establish SOA governance and migrate software development efforts to a virtual platform. In his prior role as Vice President of Technology with Affiliated Managers Group (NYCE-AMG), Brady was responsible for all aspects of technology management for a publicly traded financial services firm. During the 90’s he was the owner/principal of BJB Systems Development, a technology consulting firm specializing in database application development. Brady has a Master’s degree in Geology and Geochemistry from the University of Utah and spent the first part of his career in research where he developed laboratory protocols and analytical instrument software for trace element and isotopic analysis.
Christopher S.H. Little
Marketing
Christopher Little began his career at NASA's Mission Planning and Analysis Directorate supporting the ascent, orbit and descent simulation environment for Space Shuttle flights. In the evenings he taught Computer Science and related classes for the University of Houston’s CE program. He joined start-up Trinity Computing to create the world's best-selling computerized charting system for open-heart surgery, sold globally by 3M, and eventually became Director of Development for all products (acquired by DuPont). In 1993, he joined the start-up Healthcare Communications as Vice President of Marketing where he launched Cloverleaf, now the world's leading interface engine, and helped grow the company many-fold (acquired by Healthdyne). Co-founder of Health Language, Inc., Mr. Little executed the global launch of the concept-based indexing engine, LE. He was VP of Marketing for Loftware from 2006 to 2009 where he transformed the brand and elevated a barcode-in-a-box software company into an enterprise–grade provider of comprehensive supply-chain labeling and compliance solutions. He also served in key marketing positions at Wyeth and Lotus/IBM. He is a full member of IEEE, ACM, HIMSS, AMIA, and AMA.
